TOP 5 of more interesting alternative films

 As the festive season is approaching (Christmas) I nostalgically remember FUN, ALTERNATIVE, and UNFORGETTABLE films that are a little bit different than the average holiday film to say the least. The films are all American except for one which is French. 

But without much intro let's get into it. 

Here are the TOP 5 of the best funny, youthful films set into order, in fact, no order. All are comedies with somewhat different and original stories that do not follow typical fabula.  

1. Loser (2000) is a film about an American college student who comes to NY from an American village. It is a typical story where a poor guy comes to the city and everybody laughs at him. The film has somewhat charmed me because it shows a nice guy bullied for being too nice.  

2. Wayne's World  (1992) -  two friends goofing around, experimenting, and having fun. A nice comedy where some people talk the truth while others pretend that they don't hear.  

3. 99 f (2007) - just try to pronounce the title in French and you will understand the greatness of the film. Je suis Octave is the main hero of the film. He works in advertising and hates it greatly without being able to leave it. Because let's face it where can you find anything better than that?  

4.  Lords of Chaos (2018) - a really scary film about the founders of Norwegian black metal. It's a historical film about two friends who create something unbelievable in a quiet north but attract too much darkness and perish themselves.    

5. In the fifth place, I don't know who I'd put, but I guess it goes to Melancholia (2011), a sci-fi drama, where human depression mixes with the end of the world. The actual end of the world.
